Hi!
This is my first time taking the MCAT. I am studying on my own. I have no idea on how to prepare for the writing section. I would really appreciate any comments and suggestions.

Get the list of possible writing prompts, pick some at random, and practice, practice, practice. The time factor is extremely important. Make sure to follow their format.. as far as I remember it's short intro, example of when the statement holds, example of when it does not, and a conclusion that explains what determines when it holds and when it doesn't. If you have time, you can gather some quotes/history/poli sci material, but otherwise, develop your skill at making up hypothetical examples.
