What do yall plan on doing with your bags on interview day? Leaving them at the hotel and asking for a really late checkout time? Taking them to the school with you? What do yall do/ plan on doing?

You could check out, and still leave your bags with the front desk of the hotel you will be staying at. That is what I did.

What N2P said, but I've also heard that you can call ahead of time to check if D-schools have a place where you can keep them for the day.

Are you taking a big check-in piece of luggage? I'm going to try just bringing a carry-on. This should be a bit easier to deal with.

I think your luggage only has to be as big as you need. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm not packing much--just interview clothes, and possibly casual clothes for a comfy flight home.

I'm planning on doing the same thing... I really don't feel like lugging it all with me to the interview, even if it is small. It's just one more thing to worry about while you're there. Depending on where your hotel is in relation to the airport, it should be pretty easy to swing by the hotel and pick it up before your flight... plus, most of the hotels have free airport shuttles anyway.

Leave it at the front desk. Tip the desk attendant modestly so your things don't get "stolen" or go "missing".

i think i'll just rent a car with a trunk. it's easier that way.

$5-10, at most. That is how much I would tip a valet, too, unless I had a really nice car.
