I can't seem to get my calculus grade above a C, and I'm completely freaking out over it. I've gotten C's on the midterms and most quizzes, except for 2 (1 I got an A, one I got an F :scared:. 1st F I've gotten on anything in my life 🙁)
We still have the final, which is 30% of our total grade. I may be able to pull it up to a B, but I'm not sure....should I retake the class in the summer and try for an A? I feel like I understand most of the material, but I make all these small stupid mistakes on tests & quizzes that really add up. I'm just totally freaking out over this grade and wondering if they'll let me into med school if I get a C in 2nd qtr calc...I know it is sort of an irrational fear b/c I'm doing quite well in my other classes, but it's bugging me. A lot.
Also, any math final studying suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. 😀 I HAVE to get an A on the final!!!!!

1 C will not keep you from med school.

Is it too late to withdraw? Calculus can be tough...try to pull the grade up as much as you can and consider retaking if you are sure you can do what it takes to get an A next time. At my school calc 2 was the most failed class...although I got an A in the same class at high school I didn't fair well in that course 1st semester of my freshman year. I loved math up until that point and similarly to what you describe I didn't feel that my grade was indicative of my understanding. I learned my lesson...

I say stick it through and decide from there. Like said above, one C is not the end of the world.

A suggestion though, try replicating the atmosphere of the test when studying. I just started doing this with my math class at it really helped with my last test. Like you, I was making a bunch of little mistakes.
