Am i screwed for general chemistry II, i took a midterm friday and found out that I got a C+ on it, ive been doing well on the quizzes, homework, etc, right around a 95% average for those, but the test grade will bring that down alot, I have one more test to redeem it, but am worried because thats the final, any advice on study habits to improve that score?

what happened on your test? Was there anything that stuck out in particular IE you were super nervous for some reason? Or was the test just different from your quizzes and hw?

If your getting 95% on your hw and quizzes then it means you know the material (unless you just crammed for these and your cramming didn't work out for your test). How much are your quizzes/hw and your tests worth?

As for if you are screwed, I don't think you are screwed unless you mess up your final. And what do you mean by screwed? as in "will I get a bad grade (C range) in the class?"

I used to think the same way when things like this happened to me freshman year, and I just wish I had someone to smack me and tell me to chill the eff out. Idk if you're a freshman, but it's typically a freshman class so profs usually are lenient in that they'll allow for a dropped grade. If that's the case, drop your bad exam, destroy the final, and never look back. If you can't drop, figure out why you didn't do as well as you should have, fix it, and destroy the final. Even if your final grade ends up in the C range, you can always retake. I'd say if it's a B- or higher, forget about it and move on. It's not the end of the world.

1 worrd: caribbean.

but in all seriousness, as long as you do well on the final, you'll be fine. worrying about that grade isn't going to help anything, just make sure not to have a repeat of that performance.
