Some questions about the application process, if you have answers to any of them it would be a great help..

So I took my dat, I've written my personal statement, and got my letters of rec, what else can I do to prepare for the applications?

What do you wish you had done differently in the application process?

How many schools should I apply to (I am really struggling with this because although my scores and gpa are competitive for ever school, I get discouraged when I look at tuition prices, so I figure I will just apply to my state schools, Texas schools, and new dental schools/schools with lower standards that are more likely to give me more scholarship) please let me know if you are object to this approach and why (I'm open to everything).

Where do I send my transcripts?

Can I send my schools specific app fee to the schools in advanced?

What are examples of school specific stuff you have to do for the applications?

I asked 4 profs for letters of rec (better safe than sorry) Can I take there letters down after they upload them?

Are there any other essay questions besides the personal statement?

What else can I do to make my app more competitive (solid gpa and dat, a years work experience at a dental clinic..)

Do dental apps have secondaries?

Any other advise/ info would be greatly appreciated, I worked hard to get here so I dont want to mess this up now. Thanks in advanced!!

I would do private schools in addition also.
Where do I send my transcripts?
To aadsas after the cycle opens, IIRC you print out a transcript matching form in which you give your schools to put along with the transcript.

You pay aadsas directly when you submit your applications, you only pay schools when they send you the supplemental application.
What are examples of school specific stuff you have to do for the applications?
its usually short essays on why you would attend this school specifically, or some bs about your extra cirriculars.

I forgot, I think it will be just short descriptions of extra cirriculars.

Maybe a masters if your gpa is low, or a post bac.
