My Bio II class was complete ****. Looking through TBR bio I'm realizing that I've only covered probably 40% of the material in my Bio I and II classes. Is TBR Bio detailed enough to the point where I can just go through the TBR Bio books and be good for the MCAT? Do I want to read through all the corresponding chapters in Campbell or is this overkill? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

tl;dr is that TBR biology goes into way too much depth, some of which i didn't even learn as a bio major.

I really enjoy princeton review's bio book because it is very engaging and much more interesting than TBR. However it is also more in depth but not to the ridiculous degree that TBR does. I have not used EK so I cannot speak for that, but i've read that people say that it is the bare essential of what you have to know for MCAT biology.

ps. your question doesn't belong in this subforum!

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'll check out the princeton review book as well. Glad to hear TBR will cover everything I need to know. I'd rather know too much than too little and sorry about wrong forum.

For the MCAT I'd rather know too much detail about topics that are tested. I don't want to waste time learning things that won't show up on the MCAT though.

Try using EK. It's good content review if you have bio fresh in your mind.
