what would you do if your front office worker suddently had a issue of tardiness

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
This must be an interview question.
I would call him/her and have a private discussion over this find out what is going on. We'll try to resolve this issue and if after a while things don't work out I'd let him/her go.

I think this is the standard procedure to deal with people having issues at work.

Dude, just make a list of all your interview questions in one thread. And, yeah, tell everyone what the hell you would do.

I'd tell him/her that any Tom, Dick, or Harry could do the job, so shape up or ship out. Then I'd spit at her feet in contempt for her deplorably servile occupation. (yeah, that's what I told MY interviewers, really)

i told my interviewers I would give them a promotion and incentives just like in office space. then I would burn the building down

we had that problem at work. however, she was very capable and got everything done anyways... so our practice didn't suffer much if anything at all.

If it was sudden, I would ask them about it. Maybe they have personal issues going on outside of the office that is reflecting in their work.

I would say after approaching them in a private/respectful/considerate manner, if it continues I would consider another option.
