What's a better combo for next Fall/Spring: Orgo & Physics or Orgo & A&P?

What should I do?

  • Take physics with orgo so you can focus more on orgo.

Help? Here's what I'm debating between...

Option 1: I've read A&P can be useful on the DAT. However, I think A&P would be more challenging for me than physics. I'm worried about combining two memorization based courses...
Fall 2016: Orgo I & Anatomy
Spring 2016: Orgo II & Physiology
June 2016: DAT
Fall 2017: Algebra based Physics I & Biochem
Spring 2018: Physics II & Microbio

Option 2: Although it's less helpful on the DAT, I think it may help me focus more energy on knocking Orgo out of the park. Granted, this means I may have to teach myself more while DAT studying. Plus, it means D-schools won't see my performance in A&P when I apply and I know some schools (Texas!) want to see successful performance in the upper bios...

I'll also be taking some fluff classes and being a TA for a couple classes, but not much else. I'm still active duty Army, so keeping it all together is rough as it is.

I personally found anatomy and physiology a lot more useful and easy! You don't need physics for DAT and its a lot harder than anatomy and physiology.

I'd take microbio before DAT. It's one of the most helpful for it.

Physics is the bane of my existence.

I wished I had A&P before taking the DAT. So do the first option.

Physics and Physics Lab was my bread and butter.
