What's a Fellowship and do I need to get hazed to get in?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
This is the type of non-sense that pops up here everyday that I was talking about in the "Thank you SDN users" thread by the way.

It's when you get together with a group of diverse characters to destroy an evil ring.

You gotta be ****tin me with this type of question right?

A fellowship is something you can do once you finish your residency to become a "specialist" in a certain field. Cardiologists require a 3 year fellowship AFTER they finish the 3-4 years of internal medicine residency. Benefits to doing a fellowship is you can make more money. IM = 150-200k, specialists = 250-300k.

Wow, you guys need to relax. Not every question has to be presented in the most astute and thought provoking manner. Thank you getdown for the answer. Not even sure why you guys bother reading it and replying it if you think it was a troll (Are you just bored or looking for something to rage about?).

Just do a google search and stop being an idiot. Are you really incapable of figuring out what a fellowship is? My Burnett's Law limit strap is groaning near the breaking point.
