Match lists are the list of where a particular schools graduates are going for residency training. A "good" one is one that:
a) has lots of big name residency programs
b) has lots of students going into really competetive specialties like optho and derm
c) both of the above
I'd propose a fourth, where the majority of people who matched ended up in the geographic location you hope to end up in. Good is relative depending on what you want to get out of going to a particular school
