hey guys,

I was wondering whats better to do if you got a "D" and retake the class again eventhough your GPA is above 3.7 or to take an "F" and retake it again and have that the "F" on the transcript but the new grade counted this way your Gpa isn't killed or Take a D and retake it but the D is till in your Gpa and counted w/ the new grade.

it all depends. personally, if you have a lot of credits. i would just take the "D" and not retake it, since it wouldn't affect your GPA that much and you are passing. but if you don't have many credits, you might want to take the "F" and retake it and have the new grade calculated into your GPA. you should calculate it both ways to see the difference. but keep in mind, even though your old "F" is not calculated into your schools GPA, it will be calculated in you applicantion GPA when you apply.

I would take the D and then retake it. I believe when AADSAS calculate your GPA, it will take the class you've retaken into consideration....so that little bit help bump up your grade/ won't drag your overall GPA as low...whichever way you want to look at it.

yes, a D is a better grade than the F. try to get a C, good luck
