Whats the Deal with NYMC...does your status page only go up to secondary complete???

On my status page, it says my secondary is complete, but that was on 8/14/03. It does not say whether it is being reviewed by admission...etc. anybody else in this position? thanks.

dude. chill out man. first of all, people arent going to respond in 30 seconds after you post. give it sometime instead of continually bumping your post. second, two months is nothing. if you're worried, call the school. otherwise, they're probably just putting your file on hold.

Mine's been sitting there with nothing to show for itself either for over two months. The Office just said: 'your file is complete.'

In hindsight, I think it was a waste of $100 to apply to NYMC.

My status page says that I've been complete since 8/25, and I just got my interview invite via email on 11/10. But the next available interview date isn't until February. Hope you heard from them.

They sure do.
for me, it went:

8/05 - secondary (and $) received
9/02 - application complete
10/15 - interview invite
10/27 - interview (I got a cancellation spot, luckily, otherwise it would have been 1/26/04)

Yeah. That happens simultaneously. As soon as I got the e-mail invite, I checked the status page (to make sure it wasn't a mistake!😉 ) and it was updated as well. It seems like NYMC has the most informative status page of all the schools I've applied to. Good luck.

You all should be hearing soon...I'm a Master's student here at NYMC, and one of my favorite professors is on the med adcom, and he mentioned in a conversation that he's right in the thick of all his adcom meetings and going through everything, so I would think you should hear soon. I think since it's such a small school, these people on the adcoms have many other responsibilities, thus it takes them forever. This one professor not only teaches the med physiology but also grad physiology, helps run the department, and is on the adcom. Maybe that's not unusual, i'm not really sure. Anyway, hope you all hear soon, and good luck. Hopefully I'll be in your shoes this time next year.
