Kaplan Subject Tests - Discrete questions. Use to measure your knowledge of various subjects

Kaplan Topical Tests - Passage-based and discreet questions related to the topic. These will not cover all the material related to the topic. However, they are a good practice in the application of knowledge you've gained so far. Use them to gauge your ability to synthesize your knowledge and apply it to different more integrative scenarios. A good number of passages are considerably more difficult than most passages on Test Day, but it's good practice nonetheless. They really challenge you to synthesize and integrate.

Kaplan Section Tests - 1/2 and full-lengthed section test (PS/VR/BS) with both passage and discrete questions. Use these to work on your timing. (Note: Don't worry about timing as much for Subject and Topical tests)

Kaplan Full-Length Tests - The entire test, including writing sample. Use these to work on your whole-day endurance. Practice your routine. (Sleep early, wake up early, breakfast, no coffee, flashcards, start by 9am, take all breaks and use the time to prep for next section.)
