Now that I got my NDBE 1 and TOEFL scores(90/247), but now I'm not sure what to do next. I prefer schools in California, where I can be close to my young children. With the deadline dates so close, I can hardly rush out all those materials needed for application. Also, I have difficulty in English, have no clue about English terms in part 2. I can only study between 0.5 to 2 hours daily because I have two babies around me. What do you suggest I should put my efforts on for the following months? Without a clear plan, I'm lost in house chores.I preciate your time and advice.

Hi, surmad, thank you for respond. Actually I do plan what you suggest. I have enrolled my 3-year-old to part time preschool, and have my in-laws help with my little baby. To be separated from my kids is hard for me, can't immagine what will be if I am luck enough to start school. ... But, still, I have no idea about filling application or prepareing part 2. which should I do first?

You're chinese right? If I were you I'll be applying to CA schools ASAP! Places like SF need chinese speaking doctors, so you're ethnicity will be a really really big advantage to you. Last year I only met 1 chinese in the candidates pool, that's shameful given that SF's chinese population is enourmous.

Who says you need to take part 2 to apply? Just get all your stuff together and send in to schools as soon as possible.

Good luck

Thank you Meggs and Surmad. I'm encouraged by your reply. Meggs, You are right that I'm Chinese. And I do feel Chinese speaking doctors are needed in SD, the only place where I have been living in the USA. This is the primary reason why I want to be a dentist in CA.Imaginiing someday I'll be needed and well paid by so many people, I get the inspirit to go on for the hard work.
