I skim through it briefly to get a feel for the passage. I read the question after that, and then go back to the passage to see if I can get the answer. Then repeat. Usually, by the end of the questions, I'll have read the entire passage. It sounds really ineffective, I know, but it's what works for me. I scored a 20 (people seem to use the piano passage as an excuse, so I guess I'll use it too, haha) the first time and a 25 the second time... Not as good as some of the other scores on here but I'm happy enough with it. (Unfortunately, my TS wasn't great so I'll be trying the DAT again for the third time).
