When did you receive your Maryland interviews?

Hey everyone,

For those of you who have received an interview invite from Maryland, could you please post the date your application was submitted/complete and then the date that you received the email notifying you that you had been scheduled for an interview?

I'm asking because my application was completed last month and I still haven't heard from them (state resident, 3.4 GPA, 4.0 graduate degree, 21/21/21 DAT) so I was wondering how it worked for everyone else since I was hoping for a pre-december interview...

try calling the school and find out the answer!

I haven't heard from them yet neither. Mine was submitted in August, and that's even considered late, so I wouldn't expect to receive any pre-december interview, if I were you. Whatever interviews you get from now on will be scheduled after December pretty much.

Anyone know how many people they take from post December 1st interviews? Everything I've heard about Maryland leads me to believe it could be a top choice school for me so I'm hoping the class will still have a good amount of space to give me a good chance.

Submitted June 4 (but didn't take DAT til Aug 14), app complete email 9/8, secondary 10/6, invited on 10/8 for an interview next Tuesday (11/10). OOS, stats on predents page.

My app was submitted June 9 and mailed July 2nd. I received an email on October 5th with the supplementary and got the invite the next day for November 24th. 🙂

Definitely be patient. You may not get the pre-december interview but you have great stats and you will probably hear from them soon.

I submitted my app in June. The app was sent out to schools in the 2nd 'shipment' in July, which was JUly 17th if I remember correctly. The UMD sent me the confirmation on August 10th. I got the secondary app from Maryland on Oct 22 and got the interview invite for Nov 24 on Oct 26th.
