Don't expect interviews or rejections yet. Some schools may send stuff out around now or in September. Usually, your MD-only applicant peers will get tons of interviews first (assuming they have 4.0's, 40 MCATS, and are wonderful compassionate people who have done lots of community service...which will stop once they get into med school) before you get your first interview.
Short answer: It varies.
(assuming they have 4.0's, 40 MCATS, and are wonderful compassionate people who have done lots of community service...which will stop once they get into med school).
To the OP: to give you some idea, I would say that the earliest interview invites will come over the next few weeks and some people may interview in late September. I noticed that some great schools that deal with difficulties in recruiting applicants tend to try and be the first to interview and give decisions. The thick of the interviews will probably be going somewhere between November and January, but people will still be interviewing at least until late March. Some schools are very good about giving you decisions within a few looong weeks after you interview, but the majority of these will be given out sometime after the New Year.
All this depends on how early you submitted your primary, how quickly you get in your secondaries, and if you were an August MCATer.
