I took my MCAT in May 2007. I am trying to figure out which schools require MCATs to be within 3 years. I really don't want to retake it. I hope to get in this year, but if I don't I am going to reapply next year. I have to figure out if I should be studying. I already know University of Wisconsin lets it be within 4 years.

read the MSAR book - this lists every school's policy regarding how long MCAT exams are accepted; this varies a fair amount by school; if a reasonable number of schools will accept your MCAT score, and this includes schools that you're interested in, it may make sense to just apply to those schools rather than dedicate months and months to studying for this beast.

Sweet thanks, I didn't know the MSAR had that information.

most schools have a 3 yr limit so the earliest score they are accepting are April 2007. since you took yours after that, you should be okay 🙂
