In my P4 year, starting to interview and plot my course to the future. My dream job: Small independent pharmacy in Fargo or Bismarck, ND with an owner looking to retire in 5 years and wants to sell it to me. Of course my dream of ownership is possible in ND, but much easier to attain in a smaller town.

I have an offer for a management position in a smaller town, but no option for ownership. It might be a nice job and I would learn management skills on someone else's dime, but I'm not thrilled about the location. Or do I keep looking for the dream? I think as long as I'm flexible about where I live, finding a job won't be a problem in this state.

Or will I just "know" when I've found the job that's right for me? (yes I know I'm naive and optimistic. I can afford to be in December)

What about living in a city you like and then commuting? Would it be too far of a commute?
I consider >60 minutes to be a long commute.
