When is ps read?

Is ps mainly read when you are complete with secondaries and everything? Or when you submit the primary? Does the ps depend whether you get a secondary?


Also how long after the release date should we expect to receive secondaries? I submitted on the 19th and have received only 3-4 so far (without mcat though)

Varies school to school. Some might read it in the beginning, many will only do it after you are complete. Short answer: it varies.

As far as secondaries go, again it varies by school. Some simply won't send you a secondary. If you don't have your MCAT in, most places will put you on hold until they come in. Most schools have pre-secondary screens/cutoffs, so they won't send you one until your GPAs and MCAT meet them.
