When is the earliest you can submit applications to PA school?

Hello all,

Sorry for my ignorance, but when is the earliest you are able to submit applications through CASPA for PA schools? My girlfriend is planning on applying, and we can not find on CASPA when the applications are able to be submitted.

Also, is it like medical school applications where you receive secondary applications from individual schools which need to be submitted? When are letters of recommendations required to be sent in? When you submit CASPA or when you submit secondary applications (if they are applicable)? Thanks for the help.

CASPA opens late April, and they send out the first round of applications late May/early June. However, some schools don't do CASPA, so check their schedules.

ALSO some schools screen and send out secondaries to folks who meet some min requirement, others do not.
