When Making a School List - KEEP IN MIND OF DRESS CODE

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Always remember that the odds of running into an extremely important person at your school are directly proportional to how much of a slob you look like (which I have learned from personal experience).

Oh my gotch. I was accepted to XYZ med school but they have a dress code. I'm not going to go. (Notice: please read in California girl squeaky voice for full effect.)

I'd hate to have to dress up every day for preclinical years. The first few weeks of M1, people try to dress up nice, but after the honeymoon period, it's sweats and t-shirts and everybody looks homeless.

TBF I'm going to look homeless on day 1. Screw the honeymoon period, I know who I am.
