When should I apply??

Okay so currently I have 30 credit hours..

Enrolled for 15 for this Fall and plan to do the same in the Spring and Summer. That will put me at 75 by next August and will finish my 90 next Fall.

My questions is: Would it be okay to apply with 75 credits next Fall in hopes of matriculating for Fall 2014?

Or should I wait and apply in August 14 and matriculate in Fall 2015??

The only upside to applying in 2014 instead of 2013 would be that I would have completed my credits and have an MCAT score.. Would it hurt me to go ahead and try in 2013??

I would love to be able to get in as soon as possible.. Not in a rush but if I could save a years tuition and living expenses it would help the whole debt thing a little. 🙂

My top schools are Kent, Scholl and DMU.

If you have 90 credits by the time you matriculate it shouldn't be a problem. The problem is 15 credits over Summer isn't very realistic...but you know yourself best.

I would suggest you play things by ear. I'm assuming you've just been taking your basic sciences at the moment. Things get tougher once you get into all those upper division sciences. They get even worse once you get into pod school. While it's good to set lofty expectations, don't be afraid to dial it down a notch. You may just learn things better and perhaps even have a little fun while doing so.
