When should I expect to hear back??

I just submitted my application today and I was wondering when my application will be send to colleges and when I should expect to start hearing from colleges. All the recommendations were delivered to the colleges and my transcript was received by aacpm over two weeks ago but my GPA hasn't been calculated yet. How long was it for you before your GPA was calculated and your application verified and delivered? and how long was it until you started hearing back from colleges??

I would probably say expect to hear something from a school in about 3 weeks from this time. Apps get sent out on Wednesdays. AACPMAS won't calculate your GPA until you submit - which you've only just done. It will probably be calculated either end of next week, or beginning of the 3rd week, app sent to schools that Wednesday, then you'll probably hear something (depending on the school) before that week is over.

I just checked my application and my GPA calculations are there so the GPA has been calculated already even though I just submitted the application last night. Does that mean I should expect to hear from schools sooner? Is there anything else that goes into the application verification process?

I submitted my app last tuesday, gpa was calculated and sent out wednesday. I received an interview invite from Barry last friday. Today I got invites from Western and Samuel Merrit. It doesn't take long. Oh and I haven't even sent out my letters of recommendations yet.

Wow, that was fast! In this case, expect your app to be sent out on Wednesday and you'll probably hear from schools before the end of the week.

I also got an invite from Kent today. 18 MCAT (8,4,6). sci-gpa 3.51 and nonsci-gpa 3.67. Obviously I shadowed a pod, 120 hours volunteering in a hospital, 80 hours doing american red cross blood drives, other misc volunteering, and a year and a half of research.
