When Should i submit my application by?

I am familiar with the MD process but a little confused with DO.
Since the app opened on May 3rd, can we submit it whenever we want? I know MD cant submit until May 31.

Is there a recommended time frame to submit it by?

Schools don't receive applications to review until mid June. If you want to be in that first batch of applicants I'd say end of may/early June.

Otherwise the DO cycle is quite a big longer than MD. Most people with average stats are fine submitting up to late October. Of course, the earlier the better but don't rush and submit a subpar app just to get it in a week or two sooner.

You're fine to apply up to T-giving.

Most DO schools have pretty much filled their classes by March, so to give time for a thorough review of your application, interviewing, and acceptance, give at least 6 months. Thanksgiving is a good rule of thumb to live by. Make sure your application is good and submit it. Most schools participate in rolling admissions so theoretically, applying earlier gives you a better chance.
