When should I take my DAT first?

I'm taking it in July of the summer between Junior and Senior year.

I took mine mid-June after my Junior year, which left 5 weeks for all day DAT studying. Some might disagree but I think studying for and taking the DAT while busy with other classes isn't the best idea.

Most people take it b/w junior & senior year in the summer .

I was afraid of doing bad and having to rush a second attempt in winter break so here's what I did:

I have it a year early, sophomore year summer. I had all the perquisites and felt I was prepared. unfortunately I got mediocar grades so I gave it again in junior year summer.

I applied in June & gave my dat in late August. I took a gamble and sacrifices leaving my application status as incomplete because I was confident in the rest of my application.

why don't you just take bio 2 over the summer?
