When to apply to DO?

Hey! I know applications for DO schools open in early May. I only just found out about them (I'm Canadian) lol

I might need like 1 month to put together an application. Would I still be competitive if I apply say mid-end of June?

That would not be considered late especially for DO. Plus, this is a strange cycle due to the pandemic so timing will be looked at more leniently I would guess.

The DO cycle is usually much longer than the MD cycle. I’m not sure but if you have them all in and complete by Thanksgiving you’ll be fine. But maybe do a search to be sure. But as @DT III said who knows what will happen this year.
