How long after your application is complete should you start being concerned about not getting a II? Is there anything you can do, or is the best policy patience? I've seen several people suggest to other applicants that they should file a letter of intent/interest. My suspicion is that this overwhelms an already busy admissions staff.

As a disclaimer, I have two acceptances. Both interviews occurred very rapidly after submission of my secondary. I realize that there are applicants who have not yet interviewed and I appreciate that their anxiety must be even greater than my own. Hopefully any answers will serve as blanket advice for everyone waiting for an interview.

So far this cycle I've waited 4 months for an ii from one school and 3.5 months from another school. I've still not hard back from some schools I've been complete at for nearly 5 months now. Am I worried? Not really.

I'd say depends on the school. If they're known for long waits, relax. But if it seems like everyone complete after you is hearing something: I wouldn't jump to conclusions, but it probably isn't a good sign... :xf:
