Hi!

I applied this cycle early June to a handful of programs and have been lucky enough to receive a few interviews, but there are two specific schools that I would consider my "dream school" that I have not heard back from yet. I understand there's still plenty of time in this cycle, but I was just curious as to when I should consider writing a letter of interest? I only ask because people who have applied after me have begun receiving interviews, and I want to do everything that I can to help my chances, even if it's just a little bit. Also, I was curious as to what kind of information you would put in a letter of interest if I were to write one. Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it!

letter of interest is spelled AADSAS...

It's going to be October. Read

Also, AADSAS decisions will not come out until December 15. In all likelihood, your fate is sealed. They know you are interested in them. And your spot was your interview. Unless they say they want followup communication other than thank you notes, you don't have to do anything.

Now if you haven't gotten an interview by now, your fate may also be sealed. Many schools may reach out to you after December 15 when people start dropping their interviews. Some may reach out if there is a spot that opens up.

You can drop a "hey bro" note (not literally), but be strategic with the schools that share mission fit. Ask chatbots for a template, then pass out through your prehealth advisors to rip it up.

We will open our fall survey for applicants, so let us know how your are doing.
