When to submit application: some questions

At the moment (with 1 postbacc course), I have: an AACOMAS cGPA 3.14 and sGPA 3.04. 509 MCAT: 124/128/127/130.

I am currently taking my only prereq that had to be retaken due to a C- the first time around: third quarter of organic chemistry. The grade for this course won't be posted until mid June.

Given this, should I submit my application to AACOMAS before the final grade is in? I haven't been able to figure out if schools will screen me for secondaries based on the usual C requirements in all the prereqs, or if that is more important later on. I would of course list that ochem III is a planned course and send an update in September. Given my low GPA, I am aware it is important for me to apply as early as possible.

I really can't tell what the better option is. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Given the OP's current GPA, would holding off on submitting the primary app solely for 1 class update really do them much good with the screen process?

I'm assuming adding an extra grade to the OP's post wouldn't change their GPA much...

Not more than .01-.03.

My main question is that if I have a C- in a single prereq, will that will that get me screened pre-secondary at schools that require "C or better" for prereqs? Is it worth the extra 1 month to delay submitting my app to have the retaken A in my primary app?

Unrelated follow up- do all of my Interfolio letters need to be sent alongside and separately from my primary AACOMAS app, or do letters go out with secondaries?

Ahh, then I'd suggest waiting. The advantage to be gained by applying month earlier isn't worth the damage to be done by applying with a C- pre-req. Just my .02

Not entirely sure as this is my first cycle applying, but I believe the process is to have your letters sent to AACOMAS directly from interfolio, and then they'll be sent along to each school you apply to.

i.e. you can submit your letters before/during/after submission for the verification of your primary app.
