When to take Part 2

Hey all,
Here's my predicament...semester ends dec 18, begins jan 4
so i was thinking about taking the boards and written nerb end of dec so i can have 10 solid days to study, and do studying after school starting in october or so
in feb we have our patient mock nerbs...i was thinking about taking the written portion in early/mid feb and study every day after school in jan/feb

any thoughts? some people say take it in dec so i dont have to worry about anything as i approach the nerbs, but dont know what to do

Take ur boards when u are good and prepared to take it. Don't take it lightly and do as much studying as possible so u pass it and dont' have to worry about re-takes. Good luck!

Take it in December. When January hits you have to worry about:

1. NERB/WREB
2. Finishing Requirements
3. Midterm/Finals
4. Graduation (getting family together etc.)

I would take it as soon as you can, study hard and get it done!

I agree with both of them! Take it in Dec if possible, but take it only if you are ready!!! It's not worth worrying through NERB that you have to retake Part II
