When to use Kelvin and Celsius?

I have no idea when to use Kelvin or Celsius for temperature for some of the physics questions. thanks

dont thermal expansion and specific heat calculations both use celsius? or these 2 are the only exceptions?

I think anytime you deal with change in temp, you can use celcius or kelvin. But when in doubt, just go kelvin.

whenever you are dealing with a change in temp, it doesen't matter which one you use, for example the specific heat equation q=m*c*(change in temp). if you heat up something 100 degrees, it goes from 0 deg celcius to 100 deg celcius, converting to kelvin it goes from 273 K to 373 K, the difference is still 100 so either can be used in the equation.

Compare fahrenheit vs celsius vs kelvin

0 Fahrenheit = -17.8 Celsius = 255.4 Kelvin
0 Celsius = 32 Fahrenheit = 273.2 Kelvin
0 Kelvin = -273.2 Celsius = -459.7 Fahrenheit

Formula:
fahrenheit to celsius
C = (F - 32)* 5/9

celsius to fahrenheit
F = C * 9/5 + 32

id only use kelvin when it's really freaking cold...like 0 kelvin.... i hear that ish is cold
