i understand it's meant to be used as a study source in itself rather than just a question bank so this may be a silly question but is reading the "educational objective" enough information. Or to fully benefit must I read the full page of info. I dont want my score to suffer because I miss important info not presented in the few sentences of the educational objective. Any opinions?

Option 1: Only read the educational objective and move on knowing that you don't know what you missed or what you could get right in the future because of reading all the other stuff (while saving tons of time that you can spend how you wish).
Option 2: Read everything and try to understand it by spending a lot of time and effort not to put your fist through the computer screen. However, at the same time knowing you did your best and having no regrets when getting your Step 1 score.

Neither of these are pretty, but I am reluctantly doing the latter. (and you know how anal us med students are).

I've found pearls in the explanations for wrong answers in UWorld. I'm probably somewhere in the middle, I usually skim/speed read all the answers but read closely if it's something I thought was difficult or confusing. Usually takes me about 1.5 hours to go back through a set of 46. If you really don't have time to read the explanations then do what you have to do to finish UWorld, but you're definitely missing info by not reading.
