When will the character counts for personal statements be released?

Last year I believe they had it at 1 page, 4,000 characters (with spaces).

whatever the count is, it won't be very different. if you prep for as many characters as last year, it'll be easy to accomodate a small change.

I think it's been the same count for quite some time.

It is 4500 characters including spaces. I think that number has been pretty constant.

Remember to count the spaces at the end of sentences, returns at the end of a paragraph, returns to create a blank line between paragraphs, and there is no indent (you can put in five blank spaces for a similar effect).

I did it in Word... its telling me 3,997 characters with words.
