when you submit the application for the second time..

So I submitted the application online about two weeks ago.
I applied for only 8 schools (below), which I thought I had my best shots to get in with my pretty low GPA (Sci 2.82/Cum 3.02)

Having looking at some threads, I realized some ppl have applied way more schools than I did even though their GPAs were little higher than, or about the same as, mine. Now I'm worried that I may need to apply for some more schools.

What are your opinions on that? anyone?

IF,
I decided to apply some more, could I modify anything on the application (except biological info.) and send to extra schools?? OR it must be exactly same contents and I would be just adding more schools?

ALSO,
if I rock my second DAT which I will be retaking in about a month, should I definitely apply for more schools?

The only information on AADSAS you can really change is which schools you want your app sent to, you can't modify the PS/grades/etc. Those schools are probably your best chances with that GPA but it might not hurt to add some more if you can afford to and your DAT goes well.

The lower your grades, the more schools you should be applying to. Applying to extra schools can never hurt.

if you have the means/money, definitely apply to more schools. it'll just increase your chances, and it doesn't hurt when you think you are lacking in certain areas, like gpa.
and yes, ROCK the dats. some schools like high dats despite lack luster gpa (e.g. UoP). search the forums for info like this.
