When's the latest that you've submitted a secondary and still gotten interview?

I'll start. Due to being busy with working full-time, I wasn't able to get to a few of my secondaries until very late in the cycle. One of them was submitted at the end of October...and somehow I still got an interview. I won't say the specific school but it was a top-50 institution.

It seems surprising that one can still get interviews at good schools even with such a late submission date, especially given the huge emphasis on applying early.

With that said, when's the latest that you've submitted a secondary and still gotten an interview? I think it would be interesting to see some of the responses.

One of my applications was complete early last month, and I attended the interview at the end of the month. I don't think I'm going to get as lucky with the rest of my apps.

i submitted my application really late in general, was complete early to end of october, but fortunately i've received 15 interview invites so far, about half of them from top-10 schools and already received a few acceptances, so i don't think a late application is necessarily a death sentence...probably depends on the strength of app as a whole though.
