Where are all the residents?

I won't be starting my ophthalmology residency until next year. Are there any ophtho residents just starting? How did your first month go thus far? Are there any senior residents that could reflect back upon your first couple of months of pure ophthalmology? I'm doing a transitional year internship...so far it's been pretty smooth without any major complaints

yeah I am counting the days...on a brighter note my elective next month will be in ophthalmology...I hope to make a good impression on them for next year...we've got a very large resident class for next year...2 army guys and 3 from the airforce...so 5 altogether...for ophtho this is huge is it not!?

Yes, five is a large size class. That's great. We have an ARMY LT COL here at Iowa who just started his retina fellowship. He's awesome. I'm trying to get him to post on the board to give all you military ophthalmologists some of his input.
