I don't know. But if you find this information allready, please let me know!
I am in the same situation. I did not pass NAVLE last April and now I have to go for December. Sincerely - Julian

Passing on old questions, or even writing them down, is illegal/forbidden (did you look a the contract you signed prior to taking the NAVLE?). There was a NAVLE study group on Yahoo! that got shut down for publishing this stuff (though really it was only a few members who did the evil deed).

If you want practice questions, try those on the veterinary board website (they send these via snail mail to registered exam-takers). A lot of people like the Mosby study guides (lots of questions in there), but I personally never even bought or opened one and managed to pass the NAVLE last December.

Check out some of the various vet schools' NAVLE study sites. Some are password protected, so I can't help you there, but if you know someone it helps. There are no questions there, but lots of good study materials (like Power Point presentations and notes).

I second birdvet2006. It is way beyond illegal (and unethical) to pass along actual board questions. What helped me pass was making sure I took small animal medicine before boards, as the questions for small animal are way more detailed than for other species, and there's nothing like the humiliation of rounds to make you remember what elevated ggt in cats mean, or exactly how bun is made. Don't underestimate pigs, either.

Thank you for the email. I know that the veterinary students have some internal documents that they passing on one to another. Those docuents are very helpful to pass NAVLE, and increase the chances to pass the exam by 75%.

This documents are made by veterinary teachers which writes questions for NAVLE. So what is fare and what is not fare. Why some students have access to this kind of information, and foreign students don't.

Sincerely

Julian

Sorry - but there aren't any "internal documents," nor is there a conspiracy against foreign grads. why dont you try studying (like the rest of us) for boards?

Yeah, I haven't heard of these "internal documents" either. Maybe you're confusing these so-called "cheat sheets" with board review materials that professors from various US vet schools have put together for their seniors. We *hired* (as in paid) our professors to give us review sessions on their and our own time. To afford to pay them all we fund-raised for three years beforehand. These review sessions were basically summaries of various subjects. Classmates had friends at other vet schools who would swap these review materials with each other so we had access to some other schools' review materials.

And anyway, it's hard enough for foreign grads to practice here, with all the ecfvg stuff you have to do.

I quote from Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Review Questions & Answers, Pratt second edition: Introduction page xiv:

Review Books and Other Written Materials
General texts on specific subject areas (e.g., internal medicine, surgery, etc.)
Board review books (e.g., five volumes of Mosby's Review Questions &Answers for Veterinary Boards, two volumes of Mosby's Review for the CCT)
Practice NBE and CCT examinations (available from PES)
Old licensure examinations (unofficial and in circulation
among students)
Class notes (from veterinary school courses or continuing
education courses)

Review articles in veterinary journals (e.g., from
Compendium on Continuing Education for the Practicing
Veterinarian, Veterinary Medicine)

It clearly says that Old licensure examinations (unofficial and in circulation
among students) .......

Since the NAVLE is a computerised exam, it's not like there would be any paper versions running around that people are cheating from (and yes - it would be cheating, and you could lose your license for cheating).
