Congrats again man!

I seriously hope I get that e-mail next Dec. 1 though.

Anyway, we can talk all we want; but truthfully I don't think I really have a line to draw: I will attend the cheapest school I get into, however I would still attend a school that was 400k if that was the one I got into.

With the scholarship i got my school is only like~ 21k a year for tuition, fees and school expenses. At the end of it all I should be about 85k in the hole. Plus 100k living expenses? so like 185k or so total.

100k for living expenses over 4 years?? I'm sure you can do lower

Out of all the flavours, you decide to be salty.

To be fair, i think what he/she meant to say was that.. given you can't nab an acceptance in your state school, on average, you're probably looking at a more expensive endeavor (~70-80k/year).
Where would one draw the line if you had to go to a private or out of state school?

All of this is moot of course if someone's passionate about Dentistry. In that case, there is no line.

Depends on where you go to school. In NYC and San Fran, you are looking at a minimum of $1500/month for rent so that is $72,000 right there. $200/month for food $9600,. Then factor in cell phone, utilities, insurance, etc.....

Well yeah I would expect big cities like NYC to be expensive. But in Dallas it's cheaper
