I'm really curious as to what happened to this guy. I understand he got banned, but something tells me he hasn't stopped frequenting these forums on another username perhaps?

I'm curious as to how he's doing.. any1 know anything?

Yes, he was banned. I have mixed feelings about it. On one side, the guy was hilarious (sometimes). Other times, his threads were just annoying. From what I have read by him, it would scare me to see a dentist with his personality. The way he writes (I assume he talks the same way) bothers me quite a bit.

Anyway, is that really him? I am curious to know. I'm talking about the nba.com link....

The guy was hilarious. And the threads that annoyed you you could have just skipped over. It kind of irritated me the way people would seriously attack him for every little thing he said. Even when he had legitimate points a lot of people would get pissed off for no reason. I don't see what the hell is so wrong to have a dentist with his personality. Assuming he becomes a competent clinician and is honest with his patients, there's no reason he wont be a great dentist. And I thought that for the most part he was refreshingly honest, none of this i-drank-the-kool-aid bull****. He would say things like all dental schools are not created equal (and dude, they're effing not) and people would get all upset about how graduating from Howard doesn't mean that you're less clinically adept than a Harvard graduate. It's the same bull**** reason why people assume that anyone with good stats isn't really "passionate" about dentistry; if you've done well then there must be something wrong with you, or we should insist that "dont' worry honey, we're all the same." Some people are smarter or worked harder and did better in school, they should get to go to a better school. Yes, in the end, we'll all have the same degree and do the same job, but let's not even pretend that UPenn and Howard are the same. Whatever, I think I'm starting to rant at this point, and I'm tired etc, but I think banning him was pointless. I enjoyed his honesty and wish more people were so straightforward. And I'm sure that's not how how he talks in person.

Yes, he was banned for making inflammatory and inappropriate comments. Someone sounded a lot like him called "Harvardgrad" or something who was also banned. I have no idea if the 2 names were linked but it sure sounds like it. Anyhow, it isn't really appropriate to make threads about other members on here, banned or not... so I am going to close this one. Sorry 😳
