This thread is for all those who hail from the Caribbean to post where they are going to dental school in fall 2007! All these Trinis, Guyanese, Jamaicans, Barbadians...and other islanders need to represent! 😎

UPENN 2011!!!! Representing Guyana and proud!

My paternal grandfather was Jamaican-American. Even though I'm a bit removed from the islands, I'm very proud of my West Indian roots!!

carribean ppl are probably in the carribean....

Caribbean people are everywhere!

Shout out for the V.I.!!! I live in the Virgin Islands, grew up here. I am in my 2nd year in undergrad.

Trini here... but I'm applying for fall 2008.

Any Dominicans applying? I served a mission there from 2001-2003. Love the Carribean.

Trinidad, Jamaica, and Barbados here, a couple of generations removed. Hey busupshot83, man with that GPA, you should be applying to all the top schools hehe. Trust me, they will be interviewing you.

Thanks bad man. This list I made is not definite, but I'm really looking at NYU and their out-reach programs. After dental school, each year I intend to setup shop at different islands around the West Indies, in order promote oral health awareness, and offer free services. I know NYU has a Jamaica out-reach.

Speaking of Jamaica, my wife's friend is part of the Jamaican national track team, and she is currently training at the University of Florida (Gators) for the Olympics.

Actually "TheBest," we may be a rare minority, but you can find many West Indians residing OUTSIDE of the Caribbean: Toronto (big-up Caribana), New York (big-up the West Indian Day Parade), and Miami (big-up Miami Carnival), just to bus a few.
