As application time nears I was wondering if anyone knew of a list of programs that either only accept MD/PhDs or only students who rotate at the program? Just trying to save some funds. $25 a pop adds up real fast and the baby's hungry.

There are no programs that accept "only" mudphuds (nor only students who rotate). But as you can find throughout many threads on this forum, some of the programs that tend to accept them are:

Vanderbilt
UMich
MDACC

I will throw in that Harvard traditionally in the past (from what I've heard) has accepted 50% each year from their own school.

Thanks alot Thaiger!
I am currently doing an away that I hope to get at least one, if not two, letters out of. Should I apply today with what letters I have (2 radonc, 2 IM) or wait and, if I get letters from this rotation, send with 4 radoncs?

Loma Linda as a history of only interviewing their own or rotaters..

Depends. What kind of rad onc LOR do you have and who are they from? You can private msg their names if you want some advice.

Supposedly it's starting to change but Univ of Chicago fell into that mindset when I was in med school.

havard traditionally trys to take "no more" than 50%. Sometimes they wind up with more because they honestly feel those are the best candidates (please dont take issue with me for this- i'm not expressing my personal view here). But they don't look to load the place with harvard. I actually strongly feel that new blood is a good thing at the residency and more importantly, the faculty level.
