Hi all. Upcoming fourth year med student here. Interested in ObGyn and trying to get a sense of where to apply. I'd like to end up at the strongest academic program I can muster with my stats, preferably in a larger city (region not important).

Stats:
Top 20 school on a Honors-high-pass-pass-etcetera continuum. Mostly high passes with honors in ObGyn and medicine and some electives.
Step 1 of 216 with Step2CK scheduled in June
Lots of ObGyn research including national presentations and publications

Well it depends what you are interested in a generalist position or a academic position with research opportunities. Do you plan on fellowship?

Another question are you US medical school trained. This will make a big difference regardless of your numbers.
