Where to get more online help for...

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Check out iTunesU. Not sure if it'll have whatever specific material you're looking for, but you could find something helpful. Otherwise...I'd look into exploring the MCAT forum.

For physics, I used the University of Wisconsin's physics 207 (mechanics) and 208 (e&m) websites (http://uw.physics.wisc.edu/~djchung/phys207/lectures.html and http://www.physics.wisc.edu/undergrads/courses/spring08/208/lectures.htm). I read the lecture notes to refresh myself. they also have midterms and final exams if you wish to test yourself (although, you may want to use problems out of MCAT review books, as UW's tests are meant to be taken with a calculator)
For gen chem, I used the "gen chem topic review" on Purdue University's website (http://chemed.chem.purdue.edu/genchem/topicreview/index.php).

Good luck!

i used MIT's OCW for physics lectures because it was very concept-based and was convenient to watch on my ipod

Khan Academy. Just google it. Helped a lot when I was prepping for MCAT, particularly some of the physiology topics (renal physiology, for instance.)

Khan Academy FTW! I used his videos SO much for my MCAT review.

Thank you for this tip! 😀 I watched a few of his videos today and they were great. I'm actually kind of sad I didn't know about the site back when I was in undergrad... but definitely better late than never.
