hey guys.. I need to print out 2x2 photo for secondaries. I've taken a picture before at kinko's but they're insanely expensive. Is there a cheaper way to do this? I've been looking at walgreen digital print out but they don't seem to offer 2 x 2 size print outs.

I put 2 digital pictures of 2"x2" size on a 4"x6" then chopped them up.

4x6 usually are not that expensive, but you'll probably want to put the image in photo shop or something. I think you need 250dpi or something like that for photo quality images.

Like a passport photo? I got mine taken for the MCAT at the post office and I think it was like 10 bucks! kinda expenssive for two little photos but it was quick and painless.

I went to a copy store and paid the $14 for the two passport photos. But then I scanned one, copied, and pasted it in a Word Document. You get like 12 on a page. I then had 2 copies of the Word Document printed out on photo quality paper for 0.55/page. So, 26 pics for $15 and I doubt you'll need that many...

If you want to save lots of money, get a 2x2 photo, possibly digital, and tell the developer you'd like 6 on a single 4x6. Then, get a paper cutter, scissors don't cut it (figuratively speaking) and slice down the edges.

I took my picture with my digital camera, put it on my USB, and printed it out at CVS using the Kodak machine. I got six 2x2 photos on one 4x6 photo paper for 29 cents.

How do you do that? Do you just fill a 4x6 page with 2x2s on photoshop and save it to a disc?

just take a picture and go to kinkos and use that sony machine, i did that and i got a ton of pictures, especially for loyola who wants an additional 6 when you matriculate

Nope, you just have to have a file of your picture. The Kodak machine at CVS has options that allow you to just take that file and make six 2x2 photos on a 4x6 photo paper. If you have trouble, you can always ask the guy behind the counter but it's pretty simple once you're actually at the machine. You can plug in your USB, put in a disc, or even put in your memory card - it's awesome . At least I think so anyways since I'm not savvy with photoshop at all. 🙂

Wal Mart was something like $0.23 for a pair of wallet-size. You can either email them fromt he main website or go to the photo center with your memory card.

just take it with a digital camera, crop it to size, do some touchups (if necessary), and print it out on photo paper using a decent color inkjet printer.
