where do you people study? school library, public library, starbucks, home, on your bed

All of the above --

Wait. What? I never thought of that.

I like to keep a variety of places to study because it keeps me interested. Yeah, you could argue that one favorite spot would be nice, but that just doesn't work for me. On the other hand, studying in your room is supposed to be an issue too because there have been various studies (I don't have citations but I'm not bs-ing either) that show that you should not work in a place where you rest, since it interferes with your resting.

The beauty of 3-hole punching FA is that when it was time for the porcelain throne, I'd just take the page I was studying with me.

Do people actually want to squat on the toilet and study while smelling their crap? I guess I am the type that likes to drop and dash. In regards to the question, I prefer away from the comfort of my home - uni, library, etc (whatever works - variety is the spice of life).

I usually do practice q's from wikitestprep.org on my ipod while on the can...

and as for studying, my kitchen table at my apartment at school works great.

I like to be really, really warm so can never do anything in a library because they are far too cold for me. I have a study at home which I use when my bf is home, I even have a revision chair as I call it but often work on the study floor or the floor of the lounge when the bf is out.

i can never study in one place for very long. as long as i have my trusty goljan in my hand, i'll sit anywhere and start reading. yes, even on the $hitter.

the shyter's so cool. especially if you wanna concentrate. another alternative is the library. but the good thing about the shyter is that its always available! :xf:

i actually finished path secrets over a couple of months casually reading it on the $hitter. then i gave it to my friend to read.👍

you guys must have bowel problems or roids by now

or really full of s$%$%$ to sit so long

Honestly, this was a real point of contention for me.

The local colleges don't have librarians telling studnets to be quiet, so it turns into a "hang out" area. I soon got tired of telling people to be quiet.

The local library was losing money, so they have "events" to get children to read books (i.e. Dr. Seuss day). This basically makes them de facto day-care centers. I couldn't believe how many screaming kids were running around, with no one telling them to be quiet!

Finally, I found the Kaplan study center, which I was eligible to use since I had taken their Live Lecture series for Step 1. I love it. It's quiet, professional, and there are plenty of others there going through the same hell I'm suffering through! That's very important for your morale. At least it was to mine!
