Hello,

I'm a Canadian student currently going to college in the US (also a US citizen) and I'm leaning pretty heavily towards taking the Canadian DAT rather than the American version. Before I make a final decision, I'm trying to find out which American schools don't require the Manual Dexterity section of the Canadian DAT, as I don't especially want to take that section.

6 out of the 10 Canadian schools (Dal, McGill, UBC, Saskatchewan, U of T, and Western) don't require the Manual Dexterity test from what I have been able to find online. I haven't been able to find anything on which American schools require it or don't.

Any information or links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Any other preconditions? You should be more concerned about the fact that there are 18 US ds that do not accept the Canadian DAT.

Yeah I saw the list in your guide, but of those 18, there are only 2 that I would have applied to anyway, so I'm comfortable taking the Canadian DAT.

You attend a US university, you are a citizen (dual), but you want to take the Canadian DAT. Check. It could well raise some eyebrows.
