I am trying to find out which review books people have used for each section of the MCAT? I have EK, and PR, and i am trying to see if those are good enough for all the sections or if I need to buy others?

anyone? Any help would be great, sorry if the question seems to be one asked before I couldnt find any complete responses on here, so I thought I would ask. Thanks!!!

You probably need to buy some others. This will help for chemistry.

For physics, there is a crowd that recommends Nova and another that recommends our physics book (BR). For verbal reasoning, good luck finding anything close to a consensus.

There are plenty of threads in the archives if you do a search.

what about the difference between EK and TPR for these sections? I will look into the Berk Review I have never heard of it before.

I don't know too much about those books beyond what I read on here or overhear from some of my students. Thus, my comments would be secondhand. I think you can get a good feel from what you read on here about the various materials for the various sections.

I know this is a great place for us (BR) to get feedback about public opinion of our materials. It tells us where we're the best and where we can use some work. We have actually changed our upgrading schedule based on some comments here.

As for not hearing about us, we're only in California, and we don't advertise much. Our MCAT program is older than PR's or EK's. As much as this opposes typical business mentality, we enjoy being small. It allows us to get to know each student as well as allow us time to spend with our families. If you're curious about the materials, do a search or ask some friends. You won't find many who used them, but the ones you'll find will swear by them. We're pretty proud of that.

i would recommend...

TPR for Bio and Ochem

Berk for Physics and Gchem

After that use all the examcrackers book to nail it down.

Good luck!
