I am only going to be able to fit either Physics 2 or Biochemistry in before submitting my application. Which is the better class to take first? (The other I will have to take during my gap year). Thanks.

Definitely physics 2. It's a required prerequisite course for most dental schools. I'd list physics 2 on your application prior to submitting it so they know at least it's in progress.

Physics 2 is a prerequisite at pretty much all schools.

Biochem is a prerequisite at some (an increasing number of) schools.

Biochem will help you a lot more on the bio section of the DAT but you need to have physics done. A lot of schools just require that you take biochem before you matriculate.

I would do Biochem myself. I didn't take phys 1 or phys 2 before applying and it hasn't mattered. Doing well in biochem is more impressive IMO.

Honestly it depends which course will get you a better grade. As sad as it sounds, your GPA is vital to your success to getting accepted to dental school. If both classes are the same level of difficulty, I would have to say Biochem because biochem is a course you take in dental school. You dont need to take physics while in Dental school.
