Which DO school to apply to

I'm having a difficult time deciding on which DO schools to apply to since there is no real stats available or comparison on DO schools. Can someone share how they chose specific DO schools to apply to? Thank you!

1.) Your state schools (1-2 schools)
2.) Private schools (take out the ones where you don't like the area, cost, facilities)
3.) Public school (if you can stand the higher tuition and have great grades or specifically match what the school wants).

I recommend 12-15 schools.

Agreed, I would look at the AACOMAS books for average stats. You can also google all the stats and yes, they are out there.

I looked at average stats, regional bias schools (The ones for my area), and then attrition rate.
